Vagator (4.5 Kms) : Sparsely populated even during season, Vagator sports 2 beaches - Greater Vagator and Little Vagator.

| Baga (7 Kms) : A favourite for tourists for its safe swimming and numerous beach shacks with delectable foods. The beach can get quite crowded during season. |

| Calangute (10 Kms) : Also known as the 'Queen of Goa Beaches'. Great beach shacks and buzzing with activity till late into the night |

| Candolim (13 Kms) : More secluded, this is a beautiful beach, away from the madding crowd. |

| Morjim (10 Kms) : Further North from Serenia this is a beautiful and very secluded beach. |

Mapusa Weekly Market - Held every Friday and known for its farm fresh products that farmers and traders from all parts of Goa come to sell.

| Ingos Night Market (Arpora) - If you've never been to one of Goa's night markets - we strongly recommend that you do. Shopping is secondary - the atmosphere, buzz, great food, drinks and live music with impromptu performances are an experience not to be missed. Every Saturday night. |

| Mackeys Night Market (Baga) - Very similar to Ingos, but cheaper prices, and frequented more by locals due to this reason. Also every Saturday. |

| Anjuna Flea Market - Held on the beach every Wednesdays during season. A place for great bargains and people watching. |

| Newtons (Calangute) - Ultra modern air-conditioned department store with everything you need to stock up on. |

River Cruise (Panjim) - Pick one of the many cruise boats from opposite the Mandovi Hotel at Panjim. evening cruises are special and you can also have dinner on board.

| Dolphin Watch Dolphin cruises are every morning from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Go early for the best viewing. |

| Chapora Fort - 10 mins from Vagator, this magnificent fort built by Adil Shah of Bijapur offers a spectacular view of the Vagator and the Anjuna beaches. |
